HISTORY

The Brooklands "Friends" organisation published a regular newsletter from its inception and developed into a full colour A4 magazine called the "Spirit" which was published twice a year from 1994 until 2003. The Brooklands Club was a separate organisation in the early days and also published their own regular A4 newsletter called "The Track Record" in the mid 90's. Following the closure of the Spirit magazine the Friends returned to a newsletter format, initially in A4, and then in a 16 page A5 monochrome format published six times a year. In December 2009 the first edition of the new style all colour 42 page A5 Brooklands Bulletin was published and is designed as an amalgamtion of all those previous publications. The aim of the new magazine is to keep you better informed and to give those who perhaps can't visit as often a chance to keep in touch and feel involved in the Museum and its activities.
