Brooklands can look very scenic when the snow descends.

It's not often that we get a good covering of snow at Brooklands but when we do it seems to add another dimension to this historic place.

Brooklands Annual New Year Day Classic Vehicle Meeting

We started the year off in fine fashion at Brooklands with around 360 Classic, Vintage & Veteran vehicles gathering for  what has become one of the biggest New Year Meetings in the country.

The weather held off and was fine but cold and several cars got a little stuck in the mud on the helicopter pad ! Sorry if you had to do a little extra cleaning in the cold when you got home. Vehicles of all sorts from Ferraris to Hot Rods and a paddock full of pre war cars.

There were around 2,400 people on site during the day of which about a quarter were Brooklands Trust Members enjoying the benefits of their free admission.

Photos from the Inaugural Dinner of the BTM in the presence of HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Lord and Lady Trefgarne and our special guest Sir Stirling and Lady Moss. We used the occasion to welcome Sir Stirling as the President of the Brooklands Trust Members.

Brooklands Museum, May 2nd 2009

The annual "Auto Italia" event at Brooklands is one of the most popular in the Brooklands year. For owners of Italian cars, from Fiats to Ferrari’s, it’s one of the first chances of the year to show off their pride and joy.
