The 2011 New Year's Day meeting at Brooklands

Around 700 vehicles turned out on a grey and slightly damp morning to meet at Brooklands and welcome in 2011 in true Brooklands style.

Wings & Wheels took place at Dunsfold on August 29th & 30th

It was a fantastic two days with a full itinerary of air displays and vehicles including fast sprints along the Dunsfold runway

MG day is always a popular event at the Museum and attracts a wide variety of models covering the complete span of MGs 86 year history

Around 460 MGs gathered at Brooklands for the 2010 MG Day.

At the end of March some 800 plus Minis descended on Brooklands from the oldest to the newest. It's one of our busiest events of the year.

Brooklands has been host to a Mini gathering for many years and this year follows on from the 50th Anniversary celebrations of 2009 - but there were still anniversaries - fifty years of the  the countryman, pick up and van. As well as the more traditional Mini enthusiast there was an increase in the number of modern Minis attending.

They are just odd snaps of spontaneous things going on at the Museum, vehicles visiting, people visiting or something just spotted around the site. The VSCC organise their New Year driving tests at Brooklands

The event normally takes place in early January but thanks to the heavy snowfall in 2010 Brooklands was inoperable. The re scheduled event took place a month later on Sunday 7rth February when there was still a chill in the air but no snow. There were lots of slippery fallen leaves though !
