The below pictures show the cockpit of the VC10 nicely illuminated by giant filming lights .
The filiming took place inside the cockpit itself. The crew later filmed in the Education rooms and were on site from 0630am until 1am - these film crews certainly work long hours !
I was on the door for the Evening talk that night and the sight of dozens of extras dressed in 1950’s clothing and air crew costumes was fascintating , particularly as most of them were from the top up only - with modern leggings and thick boots on their legs !.
This was by Warp Films for Polydor filming a new Kate Nash Music Video….didn’t spot Kate though !
