Just a thought. Does anyone have access to any home movie film of either Brooklands or aviation and motor racing in general? I am always on the look-out for old film to use in my historic racing DVD’s.
Here’s a couple of still frames that may be of interest. From some old 9.5mm film of the Donington Grand Prix of 1938, here is Herman Hasse in the Auto Union

Emerson Fittipaldi in the Lotus 72 at Silverstone in 1973 :

and lastly, the start of the Sportscar Grand Prix at Watkins Glen in upstate New York, 1952 :

Here’s an article that has been written about my film collection : http://wipednews.com/features/a-driving-passion-reclaiming-missing-motor-sports-footage/

If anyone has any material, please feel free to contact me!
