Congratulations to Jenson Button for coming 5th in the Sao Paulo Grand Prix rising 9 places from his grid start.

Bigger congratulations for becoming F1 WORLD CHAMPION !!!!!

Also to Brawn GP for taking the manufacturers championship in their first year of racing - it even made Ross himself emotional on the BBC.

Brazil was also a great race itself with lots of incident and some brilliant overtaking by Jenson and also Hamilton who rose 14 places from 17th on the Grid to stand on the podium in 3rd position .

MB World are having a F1 day on 8th November, places are limited and you have to register but apparently Jenson may be appearing, along with Lewis, Heiki and Mika Hakkinen, has anyone heard about this?

Who’d have thought it ? Two consecutive World Champions in the same team ,(and both just up the road from Brooklands) as Button joins Mclaren for the 2010 season. Plenty of Union Jacks there but it will be interesting to see the power plays !

Quite honestly, I think JB has got his work cur out next year.  He’s really got to raise his game to match or beat Hamilton.  It’s going to be interesting alright, in fact, it’s going to be gripping.

I personally don’t think Jenson will be able to live with Lewis and will probably be forced into retirement next year through lack of a seat.

cool smile Jenson is a old school drivers driver not one of the F1robotic race simulator junkies as pioneered by Lewis so Jenson may yet have a few surprises for us in what will be a very interesting F1 season.  What ever Jenson achieves in 2010 he would be a brilliant ambassador for BTM - how about it committee what do you think Mr Moss?

Jenson has now raced away with a MBE -  will we see him in 2010 become an Ambassador for Brooklands? grin
