We’re off to Goodwood for the next few days. Thanks to those that volunteered to work on the Museum stand over the four days of the show.

If you’re coming to the Festival of Speed at all don’t forget to pop in and say hello - we’re on Stand 159 in the tented trade area near the cricket pitch and will have the VIeux Charles on display.

One more day to go and it’s been another truly exceptional Festival of Speed. The event has grown once again this year with the addition of the Moving Motor Show on the Thursday (albeit with a break following a nasty accident oin the marquee in the morning). There was also a large staic display of Cars N Stars featuring hot rods and US customs on the cricket green along with guitars in petrol pumps. Sadly I’m not going to be htere tomorrow when Billy Gibbons and Jeff Beck will be playing ! Lots of action on the hillclimb from F1 to historic racers and all the usual stards including Jenson Button and Jackie Stewart who I saw today. Loads of stands including some really big onesfrom prestige manufactueres Mercedes and Audi plus some great fun ones from Mazda and NIssan. Here’s a small selection of pics to give you a flavour of this event.

1) Vieux Charles III peeking out of the Brooklands stand
2) Goodwood festival of Speed on Moving Motor Show day with modern cars running the hill
3) This is what we thought of the show ......(actually it’s part of the Audi stand !)
4) Guitars and car
5) Richard Nash chatting about his car on the stand

That last link doesn’t work. It should be ‘.com’ on the end.
