Anyone visiting the Museum over the past few days will have seen the ever increasing stock of classic and historic vehicles arriving for the forst Historics at Brooklands auction on wednesday evening. Some fascinating stuff here as well.

Being an MG fan I was interested in the two SVs on offer. One was a supercharged version and the other an engineering mule , but it still looked great !

1) MG SV engineering test vehicle - many features not found on an “ordinary” SV
2) The MG again with other auction cars
3) Jensen Healey in patriotic colours - a promotional vehicle complete with microwave and tea making facilities.
4) Chrysler New Yorker much fancied by David Norfolk our BTM Outreach Team Leader posing in the picture
5) Blower Bentley, one of the star items.

I hear it went very well with the star of the sale, the Bentley, reaching £600,000 .
