OK ...there were lots….and lots of you at Auto Italia - so we need to see some pictures…..and I wonder what was your favourite car ?

Here’s my little selection for starters….

1) The BTM stand was popular particularly with this great Lancia on display
2) Ferrari Jam by the Jackson Sheds
3) 500 Fiats (or it seemd like it !) underneath the Clubhouse balcony
4) Rather Tasty Lamborghini Miura- did you have a corgi model of this as a child ?
5) Mmmmmm - Fantastic Ferrari 290MM on the Auto Italia stand - this is the car Fangio drove solo on the 1956 MIlle Miglia and is just a little bit special !

It really was a brilliant day. So much to see, at times it was like walking in a 3d version of the old Athena poster shops!
Picture 1- Great paint finish!
Picture 2 & 3 - Rain made me get all arty! Special paint finish on Diablo in pic 3, made it change colour as you walked round it.
Picture 4 - Special number plates to go with the cars.
Picture 5 - My all time favourite car, Lambo LM02, don’t see many of these around.
Picture 6 - Ms Butler-Henderson on the Test Hill.

Got a bit carried away with the details of the cars on display, I’m afraid.
Is it just me, or do the Italians make the most stylish headlights? Guess which car they belong to, not all of them belong to supercars surprisingly.
