Uncovered Foundations

<p>The concrete foundations with the cones on them were revealed when clearing back the undergrowth at the end of the Finishing Straight in a search for the original 1907 kerbstones (which you can see on the left of the picture). These foundations are from a structure used to support pipe worlk carrying steam and hot water from a 1950’s built coke boilerhouse to the factory. It was demolished in the 80’s to clear the track. Do you have any pictures of the orginal structure or the boiler house itself ?
